The 2010 UPLB Centennial

A Grand Alumni Homecoming of the UPLB BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY on its 60th year anniversary is being hatched, and ideas are being drummed up so that UPLB alumni Betans worldwide can gather once again on OCTOBER 10, 2010 along the foothills of Mt. Makiling, walk the Molawin Bridge, wave our banners high the Betan seal, the Tumbleweeds, Kung Fu Karate Klan, and our newest, the BBB, and sing..."GLORY, GLORY, BETA SIGMA."

The idea here is to start an information campaign and hopefully come up with some grand plan on how to dovetail our 60th anniversary into the UPLB Centennial celebrations.

Right now, a small group of UPLB Brods from the Bay Area are regularly brainstorming inside a garage uninsulated from the cold San Francisco weather but warmed by the prospects of coming home and setting foot once again on our 100-year old alma mater where our beloved fraternity has existed for the last 60 years.

The main purpose of this message is for each and every UPLB Betan to react, suggest, throw in an idea here and there, and hopefully a great plan can evolve from out of these exchanges. And so they say... Let's get the ball rolling!!! Let us share ideas!!!

Remember... 10-10-10 (OCTOBER 10, 2010) all UPLB Betans come home then!!!
